The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

I thought that dogs pulled a rope to open doors, fridges etc.
Yes, that's true. That's why I thought Carbon's rope toy would be perfect for teaching the take/tug. But apparently to start out, it's too floppy. It's better to start with something rigid like a thick wooden dowl or a thin dummy. @Beanwood gave me (after Carbon stole it) one of her training dummies, so we'll use that instead. :)

Isn't it funny --- Cassie would absolutely hate that!!
That's more normal in my opinion. :D

Carbon works so hard to get himself wrapped up, too. It started as a game because I'd toss his blanket over him when I get ready for bed because he wouldn't get out of the darn way. Now he just twists himself up like a pretzel. Then when I come to bed, he eventually comes out and then gives me the death stare to get under the duvet.

 My dear Siamese cats used to sleep under the covers, and curl up together, nudging me into the right position. Many years ago a friend spent a few days house-sitting for us, she woefully explained when we returned that it would of been really helpful if I had let her know this in advance. She is a tough old boot but completely freaked when 2 hump-like shapes started creeping up the bed!:rofl:

No!
Thank you, but I look like a spotty, lumpy baked potato. With legs.

No matter, I'm trying new things outside my comfort zone and I'm proud of myself for that. Sooner or later I'll find what works with my funny shape. :sneaky:
You ARE beautiful. Your lovely beautiful face, all of you. To whom are you comparing yourself? Whoever it is, stop it! xxxxxxx:*
