Beautiful! But I can’t help but think that Carbon’s expression is one of: Who is that taking the photo??!
Por favor, my face is only expressing my overwhelming fear that whomever this stranger is taking my photo that may not understand that I am PAID in cookies for each photo. Can you imagine if my photo was taken WITHOUT getting a cookie afterwards? I could starve to death! This is why I look so very worried, because food is on the line and we all know how we Labrador gentlemen and ladies feel about our food.
Also I personally feel that on this trip to Italy, I am absolutely perfecting my "poor starving little dog" look to a professional level of acting that practically no other dog has achieved in the history of dogdom. The sad eyes, the creased brow, the downturned corner of the mouth, the dejected set to my lovely soft ears. It really is a thing of beauty that expresses all of the amor that I have for my food and the concern that I have that I may - someday - not have enough.
De verdad, what would happen if ML went out without our treat pouch? It could be a disaster! So you see, even if I am not REEEEEALY starving in that particular moment, I must continue to make these incredible sad faces so that she never, ever, ever, forgets to BRING THE TREATS.
Ojala, ML did give me a cookie after the nice gentleman took our photo. Though she did make a bad joke about, "If I am in the photo, who is going to feed ME a treat?" and threaten to eat one of MY cookies.
That was scary, che paura. ML really should not joke about food to a Labrador. That is never going to end well, as now I will double-down on my sad hunger starving face. Even if ML has taken to grumbling about how I look like a tortured hostage in EVERY SINGLE PHOTO on our holiday. I cannot help it if I am the greatest Labrador thespian/model of all time!
