But we only got ONE of the 300 pics…???
Oooo, amiga, cuidado! Be careful what you wish for. ML will be showing photos of me looking pensive in Venice for the next six months !

Here we are sitting on the steps of Salute church enjoying some temporary sunshine.

I think Spencer is trying to challenge him
Bring it on! In fact amigo Spencer might win and that is ok too. There can be many well-traveled dogs in the world. I get email newsletters from a dog - a leeetle older Yorkie - who really does travel the WHOLE world, where I am more of European specialist, sabes. Also (and do not tell ML I said this) I do believe that Spencer travels in STYLE, whereas ML and I sometimes are a bit on the backpacker side of things. Your Señor, for example, has never been on a cruise ship, which is a real shame, de verdad.

I was trying to think of the countries I have visited. Vamos:

Spain (but of course)
France
UK (England and Wales)
Germany
Austria
Italy
Ireland
Netherlands
USA (California and Nevada)

I have also driven through Belgium, but ML says that because I did not even wake up, we cannot count that. Pfft! That means I still have two less countries than Señor Brogan. He really did visit Belgium, did a better visit than I did to the Netherlands by spending a week in Amsterdam, and went to the Czech Republic too. ML needs to step up her game and take me somewhere NEW!

Oh mis amigos, we are nearing the end of our Italian adventure, que lastima, what a shame! Today we took an epic 3-hour walk across the entire island to pick up our train tickets for Sunday in the train station, then came back in the boat at sunset. I am just starting to be friends with some Venetian dogs who we see every day in the neighbourhood and I am a champion at riding the big waves in the bus boat.

ML had better be taking me someplace GOOD after this, because I think I could be very happy being a Venetian dog per sempre, for EVER!

She said “Dinner”. Then there was no dinner. I will not be falling for that again. Pfft!

We go where the holiday crowds do not so I can stretch my handsome legs.

Hello, Signor Doorbell, what a funny face you have.

Pues, amigos, that was our last day in Venice. My leeetle paws are very tired: Señor Apple Watch says ML and I walked 20,6 kms today, that is nearly 13 miles for my Eeeenglish friends. And if you knew how SLOWLY we walk! Let us just say it was a long day!

i was sad to say goodbye to my dog friends like Liu, an older Señora who was a good amiga to Brogan so many years ago. Then there was Tony the Australian shepherd, Elvis the big black Labrador, and Margo the Shitzu.

I really hope we are going to one of our real homes, either Regensburg with Señorita Fine or my querida Cornwall where I long to be reunited with Reuben’s chicken. Oh and Reuben too, claro que si.

We can only wait and see where mañana will take us!

Amiga Liu and I had a last walk in the park.

And there will be more Venice photos to come because ML took about 1000 of me!

Your pictures are so amazing Emily. We loved Venice so much we are planning a quick side trip back there at the end of our next big trip at the end of this year. We are looking at going to Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Greece and Venice. We will try to sneak in a few days in London in case we can meet up with any MLF friends....
