And a bonus, ojalá! Yesterday’s swimming spot in Padstow. It has to be the best place on earth because you can pick up cookies for free in the shops (muchas gracias Mountain Hardware and Slickers) then walk 10 minutes and have the best playa, beach, for swimming. Eso es la vida, that is the life!

Oh amigos, ML and I are doing a special May Challenge that we are calling “See the Sea”. Every day we need to go to the sea for the entire month. It is because we do not have soooo much time left in Cornwall, and in Regensburg we have no sea and no swimming. I love it there - so many pretzel bits hiding in the cobblestones for me to gobble up! - but ML always gets a leeetle sad missing the big water.

Pues, May’s Challenge is so that we do not miss a single day of our grand amor of Cornwall! And ojalá that also means mucho surfing for your señor. Qué bien!

I was so happy today, ML did not even have to ask me to smile.

Yesterday I surfed at one of our local beaches, Constantine, and Monday we went to the Dodman, on Auntie Kate’s side of Cornwall.

Holaaaa amigos, we are going out now between the raindrops, but I have told ML that I am not happy at all about her keeping my latest adventures a secret. I mean really, qué lastima! So she has promised me to do better this week.

Pues, here is a peak at me surfing on a real Cornish pirate beach that you can only get to by a big long trail on the cliff. Qué aventura!

I ruled the group walk yesterday, amigos!

You can see the clay shoot behind me here and in the next (boring Carbón-free) photo. Some of the members of our group remembered the clay coming down the chute when they were young, and how Charlestown was always covered with the white dust everywhere.

The older group members were a bit triste, sad, that now Charlestown is more like a tourist theme park than the working harbour they remember, but it is muy guapa, very pretty, and we all enjoyed it. I even got to have a little swim later when just ML and I returned later in the day for a better look around and our photo shoot.
