Oh Signor, que horrores!! Kipper says that this sounds like la materia de las pesadillas, the stuff of nightmares my friend. Thank goodness little Maja is now home and will hopefully get some help with her own terrors before you need to host her again. May you and your más amable ML have a super restful few days to catch up on sleep and recover from the tiny atom bomb xxx

Is it puppy play biting or actual nasty biting? It all sounds sooo exhausting. Really sorry you had such a disrupted night.

I hope Carbon is okay? What was the blood drawing for? At least the bandage matches the bandanna. Something to be thankful for! 😊

Dios mio, lo siento mucho, I am very sorry that ML and I have been quiet lately! I have been working hard to keep her spirits up and also to teach Señorita Maja that my face is not her personal tooth pin cushion. I am happy to say that we had two more overnight adventures that while not perfecto, were a vast improvement on our first attempt.

However, much better news is that mañana we are finally leaving for our 10 day Italian holiday! ML is going a leeetle loca with the packing and is a leeeetle worried about the drive tomorrow, but I know we will be fine. Claro Que sí, from my perspective, I just take a seven hour siesta and “Ecco ci”, there we are! What could be simpler?

ML just needs to get with the program, no? Tomorrow Verona, Monday Cortona, and Thursday Venice. Life is a breeze!

Dorsoduro, here we come:

ML taking over as Carbón is asleep. 😉

it’s nasty biting, though no blood drawn. She does go right for his poor face. It started with his legs, but now…the face. She seems to adore him and then immediately switch to aggression. It could be that I talk to him, or just that he wags his tail. I think eventually we will get there, but right now it’s kind of exhausting, more for Carbón than me. At least we made it two nights without a repeat of the first night of no sleep!

Carbon’s blood draw was just for his heartworm test - no cause for worry. 😊 Our vet is very thorough to get him all protected for when we leave Germany, and that’s just part of it. All good!
