Auch!! That must have been hurtful...and still does probably!! I am glad you have AB, the combination with dog teeth and chicken is not a very good one and prone for infections....I hope you can manage the pain!

Yeah... I’m hearing ya.then started reliving the chomp, ugh
It does.wash it well with soap and water several times a day. That sounds unpleasant.
Yes, but it's only after the last joint. TBH I think it's immobilised enough with the tape. The doctor is very concerned about the risk of infection (hence the not going outside for a few days, hmmm) and so I think that the priority is the washing of it, which would be hard with the splint. Why no more splint? Was the bone not fractured?
Yes, I'll try that (or just let it air dry, might not be as painful) ... before, I didn't think I was allowed to get it wet, and with a chunky splint on it, it was really awkward. I already lost count of the number of times I jabbed it into something by mistake because I'm not used to my finger sticking out straight all the time!!Like I said @snowbunny, try and dry it with warm air from your hair dryer.
Good call, I do!Have you got some hibiscrub? I always use that.
