Updates on Mas.

Lovely to see Mas out for a walk. Hope you have a chance to catch up with your sleep tonight.

I eat low carb as well and if I just can't be bothered to do a full on cook I will saute a load of above ground veggies, sprinkle with a little olive oil and grate cheese over it. Yum.

Catching up - that was one beautiful poo, Mas...good job!

While it sounds like your OH is driving you around the bend and needs a big dose of R&R, he just seems so sweet to worry about Mas and try to take such good care of him, even if some of it maybe doesn't make a whole lot of sense like the bowl washing. His heart is definitely in the right place, though.

I hope you all three have a peaceful night to start to heal from all the trauma of the past few days.

We are having a bit of a dip he smells AWFUL and is back to being very sleepy again.

Vets have been phoned and are on standby for us going back in tonight.

Currently just watching him very closely as he’s eating and drinking normally and it could just be where is stomach is now processing food again. No signs of being sick but then he’s still on antisickness meds so you wouldn’t expect him to be.

Of course he could just be tired, I think I’ve lost the ability to judge normality .

I check that she’s breathing all through the night whenever she’s unwell, just like a baby! Can’t sleep worrying! Snoring is good!

She’s eating and drinking, so it must be something she with a leg...really hoping it’s not anything major.

I’m worried about you too Leanne as @Lab_adore says. I hope you can find small ways to look after yourself in amongst all the crazy.

No change, not been a poo since yesterday st 7am but has horrendous wind.

Vets have advised that if no poo by 12 he’s to be readmitted as the food he’s on he should be pooing twice a day at least. I’m convinced that the poo yesterday was some type of constipation as it was SO hard compared to the previous days diarreah.

Plus side of all of this is that at the grand old age of 36 I’ve finally remembered how to spell diarreah

I have Absolutley hit my wall - I am so tired that I feel sick and my decision making is totally erratic. Going to give him another hour of sleep and then take him for a walk, see if that gets him moving

Means the guts are working.

Hard stuff can be bypassed by the squishy stuff for sure. Movement is definitely good for achieving stool.

That’s what I should be doing. Instead I’ve been watching him sleep and freaking out
