We've had snow on higher ground over night...as soon as it snows they close this road - the Mountain Road, the main road between the north & south. Rather than clear it. Beautiful views from the webcams though.

I had a look, surprising the difference from north to south. I am in the midlands and was surprised to see snow on the top of my hills!

No snow here in the valley, but some up on the tops, with quite a clear demarcation line.

We walked up to Warley Green today and Joy was very happy to do some ball fetching in the snow.

Me too. Unexpectedly, we had quite a sprinkling of snow in Kent yesterday morning but it had melted by the afternoon.

First day of summer, 37 degrees. Lovely afternoon breeze, just chilling by the pool. I've already had a swim and the kids have been in for nearly 2 hours .

I don't usually drink on week nights but I'll make an exception for one cool (plastic) glass of prosecco to welcome summer

First day of Winter, 10 degrees and been raining all night/morning. I waited for the rain to go off a bit and the daylight to kick in then Coco & I went for a nice walk in a chopped down plantation in the heavy mist/rain. He loved splashing in the puddles. Meg & I did her usual walk to the church for a sit down, drizzle turned to a drenching downpour but it's not cold. I'll swap the Prosecco for a cup of tea

Crazy weather here, it was in the low 30's on the weekend but this morning a fleece was needed for the dog walk as it was only 14. In summer! Heating up again on the way to the weekend with 34 and 37 Friday/Saturday

A nice day (not) for yet another 60th. Such a shame, my very dear friend went to so much effort and expense but we had to flee early to get home to Maxx. Everyone understands and they know how much he means to us

Our new heating/aircon system is controlled by an app. We can jump on, check the temp inside the house and adjust the system as needed. The other day I checked and it was 29 in the house. I turned the aircon on and came home to a cool house and a chilled out Ella, fast asleep on the couch
