We missed our walks this morning - I was supposed to be helping with a delivery of clays (clay pigeons), but turned out they haven't made it on Island yet. Then the weather closed in. Now its really foul. The dogs don't care. We did do some indoor dummy training

He’s really unwell - came on so quickly yesterday. We both had our vaccinations. I have very mild symptoms

She was sporting her new flashing blue collar and despite the conditions attracted attention from "there's a dog who does bling well ! " to a van driver pulling up along side has who called out he thought she was an emergency police dog !

Thank you. He’s not good at all but I am about the same so I did a long walk this morning. I was glad I didn’t have Molly with me as she likes to swim and the dyke is very high. It’s still raining and will all day but light rain. So glad the heavy rain has stopped but a worry all the flood warnings across the UK

There are all colours. I like the blue and Cassie will be seen even if people think she’s an emergency vehicle but I like the bling comment best .

i bought an orange one for Molly but had to return it as I couldn’t turn it on and off easily. Will get a different brand

I guess that most people have seen the news about the Monmouth floods. Ruth, Jazz and I are OK. The town centre is a complete mess. Our local doctors surgery, the pet shop, Coffi Lab, Waitrose (our main supermarket), and about half the shops in the town centre have been flooded. My heart goes out to all those who have lost homes or businesses so close to Christmas.

My Grandfather and Uncle had a butcher's shop in the main street, I don't remember it flooding ever way back. Does it normally flood now! It looked appalling, I feel so sorry for the people who have been hit.

Glad you are ok, I did wonder if you had been affected especially when I saw the photos on the welsh news, it looked awful.

I guess you are OK, maybe on higher ground? Because I guess you live quite near Monmouth yourself?
