Looking at the news I think we got off very lightly indeed , poor people flooded , so awful for them . Reuben doesnt like the noise of the wind in the garden but will happily go for a walk in it , strange boy x

xxI always thought it was smidgen. Is that the correct spelling for smidgeon? Or should it be smigeon as in pigeon?
How wonderful! It's grey & windy here. It’s snowing!![]()
Over here (northwest Cornwall) as well. It didn't rain hardly at all, mainly a lot of blowing. The sun is already peaking out every now and then again.Looking at the news I think we got off very lightly indeed , poor people flooded , so awful for them .
It's suddenly got very windy here Mags, from being quite calm this morning. All buses have been cancelled in Heidelberg - it’s not even very windy compared to home!

There was a plane from Spain yesterday evening trying land in Amsterdam...After trying 4 times it flew back to Spain...!My sister and BIL are flaying home from Barcelona to Gatwick this afternoon. Their flight is showing as "on time" at the moment; hopefully they won't have too much disruption.
He‘s fully recovered, thank you. It was horrible as parents to see it happen and to be so helpless at the time. A very strange in incident for sure.Goodness - what a shock for you all @jazzmynn. I hope he’s OK now. Our huge rowan tree blew down in the Beast from the East. Luckily no damage, but I miss the tree and we get far fewer birds visiting.
