Weather

Be very careful of the trees friends. We had a freak rain/wind storm come through last July when we were working with our son in his backyard. The top 10 feet of a neighbours tree broke off , flew to our sons yard, hit him on the head and pinned him to the ground. We had to lift it off of him and call an ambulance. Sat with him and tried to protect him from the heavy rain and crazy winds until they came. He ended up with 16 staples and stitches on his head, broke his wrist in two places, strained his neck and was off work for 2 months. Needless to say I spend a lot of time look at tree tops now, and am a little freaked out when I take Ariel into the bush sometimes. Be safe everyone.

UK Tour Guide
I have just walked Red hoping I could do the long walk. We got into the wood and I was shocked to see all the branches broken off the trees - some of them big. It felt a bit scary and unsafe so I did a detour along the farm track that comes out in one of the village lanes and then walked home through the village. We had just turned into the drive and the rain 🌧 started. Disappointed she couldn’t have a long walk but pleased to be inside
