It was the year my daughter was born

I must be thinking of another heavy snowfall in April, definitely Easter and the Saturday.

It is just pouring down with rain . Have got my big golf umbrella ready for standing on the playground later waiting for a granddaughter. When I have dropped her home, I am picking up another and taking her to the local coffee shop for a treat - it’s her turn. Reckon the umbrella will be well used this afternoon

Yes, I too have a memory of a White Easter somewhere back in the mists of time! Must be the same one!

I just got home from a dog walk in the pouring rain , Nelly wanted to come but she has had to be sinked , long hair and low to the ground as she is . We have run out of mud free walks now, but at least we have a warm dry home to come back to x

It's been so humid and rained so much here this summer. I can't believe how green the grass is for the end of February! It's usually brown and crispy, not green and lush!

I definitely remember hunting for Easter eggs with my children in the snow! Must have been mid 90’s.

Got a wedding to go to all day tomorrow, fortunately all at the same venue so hopefully indoors all day. Brrrrr if they want outdoor photos.

I'm wearing my beautiful Gabor cream high heels. Selfishly hoping they don't have to be worn anywhere other than indoors and a bit of tarmac else I will have to take them off and carry them.

On top of all the apocalyptic news of viruses and economic melt down...today it is -15 with a wind chill of -26 and a new layer of snow.

It’s at this point of the year that I am thoroughly SICK of winter.

Happy First Day of Spring, everyone!* Apparently it’s the earliest vernal equinox in 124 years. What’s the weather like where you are? Here’s a picture from my front door:

Not very spring-like, I’m afraid. Temp is -17C. Yippee.

*First Day of Fall in the Southern Hemisphere, I presume?

It's been raining steadily here most of the day here, no sunshine, but not cold. I would say it's been good gentle spring rain, but after the exceedingly wet winter we've had we really don't need it!!

We have had a glorious afternoon , 14 degrees and no rain , yet I walked for an hour and a half with the dogs , it really did feel like Spring xx

Our autumn started on 1st march. It has started to cool down in the mornings and evenings but currently we are having a last burst of summer. 29 yesterday and 36 today. I WFH yesterday and had a long swim in the sunshine at lunch time and it was glorious. I'm sad to see winter coming

Yep, Autumn here from March. I love autumn as I find the nights are cool but the days are nice (mid to high 20's) and we get our most consistent weather for the year.
