Our seemingly endless summer came to an abrupt halt today. The temperature dropped 10 degrees and the wind is cold. So we got Maxx's doona (duvet) out of the cupboard and I didn't even have time to flatten it properly before he jumped in! Too cute

Yes! We were still swimming in our pool last weekend and now it feels like it is

Notice how much hair is on the floor in the loungeroom in that photo. I only vacuumed two days ago. Sigh.

I've got the black hair misma back. I really missed it. I misted up when I first noticed it. I miss my old black dogs but I didn't realise I missed the hair. It made me smile . I have a black dog again.

I have to do it daily - if I miss a day, it‘s just dreadful. I played with Red last evening inside (we had really heavy rain yesterday), my clothes were plastered with hair afterwards - don‘t even attempt to get it off these days

It really does need doing every day but I just don't have time with work being so busy (and I'm a lazy housekeeper)

It's freezing down here! We had hail!

Ella and I managed to get out for a walk in between the downpours but it's so cold.

Last night she squished herself so tightly in between OH and I in bed so she must have been feeling the cold!

Maxx is trying to tell us that he NEEDS MORE FOOD because it is cold. He sat and stared at Steve for about 15 minutes while he prepared his dinner (rice, leftover gravy from our beef cheeks, chicken and beans). When it went in the fridge (because it was only 4.30pm) he started whining and barking. And barking. And barking. GAH! I did a 'find it' with some kibble but now he is back in the kitchen barking. He's just brought me his footy so off I go to play.

Our heating has switched itself on this evening (we leave it on the thermostat all year). It's currently 13.1°C outside. Brrr.

Its been grand walking weather here today but thankfully not beachy sunbathing weather , not that its distracted massive crowds coming down from wherever . Cold wind blowing though , blowing a gale at times x

How funny, it has been blowing a gale here today too. It's just before 5.00pm and 15 degrees but the wind is making it feel much colder.

It's winter here. Cold, wet and windy. On the plus side only the few regular dog walkers out. Conclusion, the biggest percentage of dogs in this village only get walked on nice sunny days. So not very often.
