Ooh, you’re a wise owl @Candy - I’m so pleased you’re looking after yourself so sensibly. Sending you unending admiration and hugs x
I was a mental health nurse working with older people for many years. I co-ran a lot of support groups that were very well received, including 'Coping with Loss'. I know all the theory and have applied it to myself when necessary before, not without difficulty, but have still managed. This is, as would be expected, my greatest challenge ever. I know I have it within me to cope with this, even if it gets difficult. It was never going to be easy, as I said yesterday. I fully believe I can get there eventually, with help from my GGJ, you, family and friends, just as Trevor would so much want me to do. Thankyou everyone for your continued support. It means the world. Back to young Geo

Enjoying a morning cuddle with Carbon on the sofa when a little black cat walked into the window. I live in a semi-basement, so the window sill is an easy walk-in for cats, dogs and even humans. I've had quite a few dogs come in that way, but so far no cats - as far as I know, the little black cat is the only city indoor/outdoor cat in all of Regensburg. She peered in, looked at me, didn't see Carbon, and was clearly contemplating jumping down into the living room.

I gave a chuckle, then Carbon's tail started thumping as it always does when I laugh at something.

Kitty THEN saw Carbon and was out of that window like a shot.

Carbon never saw her...which was probably better for the Sunday morning peace of the neighbourhood.

Maxx was chilling out on the upstairs balcony, keeping a careful eye on the goings-on of the street when a ginger cat appeared and walked along the footpath as nonchalantly as cats do. Well. Mr Maxx went ballistic barking and then dogs all over the valley started barking too! GAH! I was trying to calm him down and the cat thought it was all so amusing and started cleaning herself with the total arrogance that cats have

The cat thing is funny. Monty lives with a cat and they ignore each other most of the time. Every week he goes to my SIL house and cuddles up with ginger Bowie (photos below) but a strange cat out on a walk.... He's absolutely fascinated and often woofs excitedly at them. So girly clothes shopping then?
Will you be allowed to shower her with gifts and do the complete doting granny thing or will you have to keep your distance a bit (that may seem a bit of an odd thing to say......)

So pleased for you Mags!!

Had a pre baby mani and pedi today. Both this fetching purple. We also took Chewie to have his nails done at the groomer as I can't deal with that at the moment and they offered to do my nails too. Hehe.

Also had my final ultrasound and baby looks well and totally average sized, yay!
