What made you smile today?

Is it quite tough @Lara_Pigletina ? I've had a series of sploding beds and cushions here recently and may have to get some of the cheaper ones until it all settles down a bit.
Hmm it’s hard to say, luckily for me the Pig has grown out of sploding beds finally. It’s like a plush toy I guess, it wouldn’t hold up to much chewing, certainly!

I always lay next to Rory until he’s asleep.

Tonight I put him down and laid next to him, he was dozing off and just before he went to sleep he half opened his eyes to check I was still there, gave me a sleepy smile because I was and went to sleep.

My heart ❤ I actually melted. I thought the dog had me wrapped round his paw but this is another level 🥰

So glad you're enjoying your own dear little lad @Jen!
Honestly, he’s like a different baby to the one from a few months back.
I’m still nackered (as I type this at 5am) but now he’ll go down for his naps rather than having to take them alllll on me and be held constantly and he goes to bed and I get a bit of time to myself on an evening it’s so much better.

He’s gone from crying and whinging and chewing on constantly to hardly crying at all. I knew he was awake just now because I could hear him giggling and babbling away to himself and that’s much more pleasant to wake up to than crying 🙈

That’s great news @Jen.

My two ‘babies’ and their partners are coming home this morning for the weekend. I didn’t sleep last night with excitement!

Today we’ll catch up at home then a meal in a lovely pub this evening. Tomorrow we’ll go for a hike with Tatze, followed by a pub lunch, then we’re having an all afternoon and evening party for 25 people. Mr Boogs is catering, we’re having lasagne, chick pea curry, cheese and onion pie, chilli and lots of different salads. :happyfeet:

Spencer is on his holidays with aunty Val (he loves her to bits) as we are off on a walking holiday in the Dales on Monday.
