I did the scatter game in the kitchen , two pieces of kibble rolled under my dresser . Reuben tried so hard , he could get his head sideways under and could see them but his efforts were in vain . Nelly sat observing this , and then went under herself , she loves going under the dresser at the best of times , but the look on Reubens face, as he heard her crunching them up was priceless xxx

This is how my OH likes his toast. I always adjust the settings on the toaster and he always complains. Just check the settings then? I like my toast crunchy and cold so the butter (lots, like a slab) doesn't melt. He likes warm bread with runny butter.

I finally found a brush that Chewie doesn't hate- the Zoom Groom. Two problems. 1) He thinks it's a game and prances around like an idiot. I know he likes it because he stands very happily when I do run it through his fur. This definitely made me smile today 2) The damn thing is so difficult to clean the hair off!

My lovely friend Liz is up from Suffolk for the weekend. She's staying with our mutual friend Geoff, who first introduced us. Tonight we are going out for a meal with Geoff and his partner, Margaret and tomorrow Joy is spending the day with a friend while the four of us go to Liverpool to see the Rennie Macintosh exhibition. First bit of culture for a while. A weekend to make me smile!

Cassie just now, I've been out for a few hours, she has had tea given by my daughter and the company of her and my son. After a quick leg stretch outside and me changing into jimjams and dressing gown and pouring glass of wine so I can catch up on MLF, she started playing her game of hide the golfball, find the golfball. It's very noisy, and usually means I have to get up and get said golfball out from under the furniture! But not tonight, she must have taken pity on me, and after 5 minutes of dragging her sitting room bed about, which incorporated lifting it up and turning it over, she's now asleep and snoring in it completely inside out!! I mean why do that?

But my funny girl does make me smile :heart:
