My friend who lost he beloved BC in very traumic circumstances last year has just got a new puppy. She said no more she said she wasn't ready, but Enzo is here. So happy I nearly cried. She's in shock but happy.

Our little visitor adores the dogs.

The house is covered in her toys and neither dog has touched any of them.

Kipper being awesome today at Woofstock made me so proud - as did OH who handled my and Kipper’s nerves by settling us all down in a grassy corner to watch and take it all in for the first 20 mins

I saw the Charles Rennie Mackintosh exhibition at the Walker Gallery in Liverpool today. Lots of beautiful, beautiful stuff.....

.....but it was this embroidered cushion cover that made me smile the most. It's difficult to read what it says in the photo, but it's a quote from William Blake,
' Under every grief and pine
Runs a Joy with silken twine.'
It brought to mind a lovely image of little Joy happily zooming around with a bit of something silky in her mouth, no matter what was happening!

Joy spent the day with friends. I was without her for eleven hours and despite having had a lovely day I was very eager to pick her up once we were home!
