What made you smile today?

I'm just catching up and enjoying all the happy news and photos so much. @Naya a huge congratulations on your house move - the garden looks fantastic. Carbon says he's looking forward to trying it out. Also glad your holiday is going so well. @Jen Rory is such a heartbreaker - the dimples! @SwampDonkey Iver is already so big. How did that happen?

What's making me smile today is knowing that we're landing at @Beanwood 's tomorrow. :cancan:

Or today as it's already tomorrow. Oh darn it, you know what I mean.

Anyway, love reading this thread even if I don't write much here. I figure I'm wordy enough elsewhere.

We just had a big and silly roll around tickling play on Nathan's bed. All four of us playing together 😁. Then OH and I said goodnight to the kids and left them both on Nathan's bed (we didn't tell Ella to stay). 10 minutes later and they're both fast asleep 🥰

I love that it's so perfectly normal for our strange little family that our fur and human children are treated the same and we just do things together as a family of four 🙂

I don't know about smile...but laughed out loud when I read this....the context..looking to create a narrow sensory path for Otter, and came across these cheap foam bubble seats...:cwl::cwl:

  • Light weight, portable, foldable, easy to carry
  • Waterproof and moisture-proof
  • It's the best partner, when you sit down on the ground after sport or in the park
  • Ass no longer afraid of cold, dust and wet pants
  • Great for indoor and outdoor use

Willow often gets burrs on her when she runs through long grass. This is always A Disaster and An Emergency and she will come crawling to me to have them removed, AKA Saving Her LIFE.

This evening, we were having silly time in the garden and she came up to me and started nibbling my sock - I had a burr on it, and she removed it ever so gently and spat it out. I think this time maybe Willow Saved my Life! :D

We call them Sticky Greens !! Nelly manages to get masses of sticky greens clinging to her long hair x

Couldn't help but smile this afternoon. It's been a tricky week with a couple of rather grim night shifts, I had to pop down to Hay to get a bag of food for Cassie. After paying the woman asked one of the storemen to carry it out to the car for me. He was a very cheery chap who checked with me that he'd got the right bag, announcing loudly that he always gets confused with dog food, but then again it doesn't take much. He then carried on to say that it's such fun trying to match up the cars in the carpark with the bag of food he's got, and I said yes I expect so especially on a Friday afternoon! He then said oh yes it was super fun, even earlier on today when he got it wrong and had to swap them over!

It doesn't sound much but he was so happy and enthusiastic about it all that I found it quite heart warming, such a simple thing. Made me smile during my visit to the nearby Co-op, and suddenly I found everyone else was smiling too!

Maybe they thought I'd been on the happy juice a bit early!!
