What made you smile today?

Cassie is limping slightly today, looks like her front right paw. I have been a bit remiss with doing the cooperative care so wasn't sure if she'd let me examine it, but she did, her in her chair me in mine pulled up in front of her. She let me have a good look, until after a couple of minutes when she very gently but deliberately picked up my forefinger and put my whole hand back in my lap. Her muzzle is so soft!
It was so sweet, she just looked at me like I don't need to worry

Yesterday at the vet Lilly was such a good girl.
She let the vet examine her, then was lifted onto the exam table for a shave and clean.
She popped on a lightweight muzzle just in case but she barely reacted getting in the 4 staples.
She was just a star :inlove:
Much better than a 30 mile round trip and a GA.
Lilly’s a brave girl, that must have taken some patience. Fabulous - you should be proud

We had a long walk at Tentsmuir on Friday and noticed when we got home that she had a 1" gash on her left flank. No idea when it happened. Vet says it was at least a few hours old, so must have happened early on our walk. Most likely caught on barbed wire.
Had no idea it was there, she hadn't barked, whined, anything.
Had noticed in hindsight that Oreo had licked her a couple of times on her back end, but only really spotted it when she lay on her beanbag and it gaped a bit.
She was very brave.
