Hehe, that's my hat! I remember I was in the UK, it was COLD and I walked into the nearest suitable shop and bought the first hat I saw (cwl)

This made me smile, my boy is home and absolutely shattered Anna says he has been fantastic , two other Labs to play with in her field , then a walk , a rest and another play, so he is going again next Friday and every two weeks after that . He came in , fussed us and Nelly, clambered onto the chair and closed his eyes xxx Big smiles xx

I had a similar situation at work many years ago organizing an ECG machine for our department. My manager told me that Welsh Alan would be in touch, or so I thought. Turns out the medical equipment company was called Welsch Allyn. I'd been expecting a nice Welsh man called Alan. Most disappointing!

My lovely daughter made me smile today She's been away at the NEC with her work most of the week, and today has gone away for a much needed long weekend with her boyfriend. This is fine but means she is away from her beloved grey mare, Rosie, for nearly a week

Having grown up on a livestock farm, animals have always played a huge part in her life and she just loves them all, from dogs and cats right up to the bull on her Dad's farm. She has an amazing affinity with horses and is a talented rider, she's a joy to watch (others say that, not just her mum).

I've just received a text saying that she's so excited as they are going to Chester Zoo tomorrow, the highlight of the weekend At 24 years old the little girl who pushed a litter of puppies around in her doll's pram is alive and well

Yes, you are so right with that. She was so happy when a stray cat turned up on her boyfriends farm a few weeks ago, just after we lost Maisie the Terrible, and took up residence in the calf shed. They spent weeks convincing themselves it was getting fatter and was going to have kittens, but the vet was there this week and pronounced it a tom !!! No kittens in the pipeline!!

I really should be off to bed, but my own GoodGirl is lying on my feet, cone, inflatable collar and all, making Happy Dog Grunty Noises. I'm just stuck here, smiling.

I have committed to doing small trick training sessions with Chewie as I think he needs more mental stimulation. Today we were working on learning the name of his "teddy," which he is getting now. That in itself made me smile and it was made even better by Rowan smiling at all this from his chair. My boys.
