@Jen my daughter and 6 month old grandson are sleeping in my other daughters caravan, which is parked in my elder daughters drive. She can't believe it but my grandson has slept most nights since moving in to it.

Wow, hats off to everyone that has/had kids that took ages to sleep through. I'm not going to lie, I'm slightly terrified that the next one won't sleep as we were so lucky with Nathan (he slept 5hrs over night from 2 days old and started sleeping 9pm-6+am after six weeks).

If you get another one that good you’re going to be the luckiest person in the world! I don’t think Rory slept 5 hours til he was about 6 months old!

My second so sept beautifully from 3 weeks old. Im glad I had the poor sleeper first, at least I wasn’t lulled into a false sense of security.

’Tho he is the reason I didn’t have a third!

I had the worst sleeper last. My first two were a walk in the park in comparison. He would not sit still, ever.

Reuben , despite a longish walk this afternoon , he is still waiting for his ball play in the garden which we do most days . He just appeared, poked his head round the sitting room door , ball in mouth , I said " Five minutes lad " and blow me , bang on five minutes later he was back peeping round the door x

This. I did what I shouldn't have done but I went to the farm with my OH , he went to feed the cows and I took both dogs a walk in this empty field. I was so delighted to be able to not have to keep checking for other walkers and dogs. Sunshine and happy dog bliss.
