She's so happy! That last one was the only time she was still!

Yes, in her element, finding and retrieving. As far as I could tell both her parents were family pets but I'm sure there's some working Labrador somewhere in there! She's so happy!![]()
Unlike your mother's, probably because she was laughing so much!My camera angle was perfect, thanks Windsor![]()

So glad you've managed that Emily! It's my walks with Joy that help me to stay reasonably upbeat, I'm convinced. I now have a choice of three walks where I see very few people and there's plenty of space for social distancing. I feel a certain sense of achievement every time I get home from a safe and enjoyable walk and I must admit also a sense of relief that I've managed it again and am safe home until tomorrow.I'm happy because Carbon and I made it out today and had a GOOD walk...first since the beginning of March. Woo hoo! I went to a place that's pretty empty even when the beaches are heaving and while there were a few cars, it was predictably quiet. My silly "NOT ON HOLIDAY" signs on my car made me feel better too. I think really being away from any houses or the beach helped: on the coast path I can see the waves crashing into the cliffs and keep a lookout for seals. Carbon and I enjoy that more than the actual beach anyway.
Carbon had a big old smile on his face - which naturally I didn't capture in a photo - and that made me smile back.![]()

Oh well, probably doesn't do that much harm though and in my experience the novelty wears off eventually. Dogs! I'm talking about dogs, not me personally! Thanks, @Candy .
I should also amend my description of the walk we did today. I may love it because of the cliffs, sea views and seal spotting but CARBON loves it because the entire walk is through sheep and cow pastures. And for Carbon, that means...
Mmmmm....tasty good snacking!![]()
