What made you smile today?

Little Brother and Jenny are still here and tonight it has been warm enough to sit outside until 11pm, most unusual for this time of year. We were drinking wine and talking, as you do, and the subject came round to possible future cars. Little Brother said 'Well when we retire we'll want a car with easily enough room for three people, their luggage and two dogs. ' I know they plan to get a dog when they retire, but two?! Then I wondered if my neice, Sarah (very much a cat person) might be thinking of getting a dog. I said 'Two dogs? Are you going to have two dogs? Or is Sarah going to get one as well?' Little Brother pointed at each of us and said 'One, two, three people ' then he pointed at Joy and said 'One dog' then at an imaginary dog at their feet and said 'Two dogs ' Then he added 'We are hoping to spend a lot more time with you when we retire, you know '.
Oh, this has made me smile! I so much enjoy their company, the banter, the laughter and the love. I am so lucky to have family like this. Here we are outside thisevening. I wanted to put the outside light on to make the photos clearer, but Little Brother would not allow it, saying it was more atmospheric without. Just this once he can have his own way, but he needn't think it'll become a habit!20200913_214708.jpgIMG-20200913-WA0001.jpg

Jackson and I had our six week GP check today. As we all see the same family GP, by complete coincidence :)happy:) my mum and I had managed to book appointments 15mins apart so actually bumped into each other on our way into the Dr surgery! 😁😁

When we'd finished our appointments, our GP asked us to follow her. She lead the three of us out the door and into a small garden at the back of the surgery. She pointed to a picnic table in the sun and told us to stay as long as we liked :inlove:
