Oreo makes me smile (as she always does).
Every night she snuggles up to me on the sofa, and then moves onto the floor when she gets too warm. She LOVES to sleep and would stay in bed all day if she could. When I decide I’m going to bed, I stand up and say “right Oreo, bedtime” and she jumps up off the ground and zooms upstairs really quickly. I love how she waits for me to go to bed she could easily go upstairs on her own but would rather be with me

Chewie made me laugh out loud on our morning walk when he stopped at a gate he has never stopped at before. He stood there wiggling, as though he had just seen a new dog. He had. There is now a statue of one of the HPR type dogs in this person's front garden (how odd?!) and Chewie wanted to greet it. He is so pure and innocent. Makes me smile every single day.

This has made me smile . For a little while, I have not been happy when Red pulls me for whatever reason (she’s small yet very strong). . I don’t like her pulling - I worry about her neck with the rope lead and also the pulling away hurts me. I do have a lot of arthritis which impacts greatly on me. I want to be able to enjoy our walks and also know I am doing the best I can for her welfare. Seeing Toffee in his Perfect Fit harness last week, reminded me I had one but haven’t used it since Red was a big puppy - she didn’t like it.
I put it on her today - had to make it much bigger from when she‘d last worn it. She was super patient whilst I did all this. Then we had a great walk using the Halti lead attached to her collar and the harness. Much much better . Felt it’s kinder to her and I felt more anchored.

That was Ripple's puppy harness, can’t believe that it still fits Toffee - the advantage of having a skinny boy . Toffee is really happy in it, glad to see it’s working for you and Red as well.

Today our neighbourhood dog friends threw a goodbye party for Quinn. The made this as a momento - so thoughtful! We will both really miss our friends and neighbours.
