What made you smile today?

So throughout our relationship I have always tried to encourage Nathan to be more ambitious.

He works hard and long hours, but in a pretty thankless job that he doesn’t particularly enjoy with not much in the way of future prospects.

I’ve offered options for him to maybe go back to study or an apprenticeship but he’s never really warmed to the idea.

He’s the best driver I know, so we talked about him maybe doing something with that and he thought it sounded good. So he’s been doing a course and today passed his test with 2 minors and is now a qualified HGV driver.

I’m very proud of him and I think he’s more pleased than he’s letting on 🥰

Going for a lovely walk with my daughter, Cassie and Reeva.
I love her dearly but it isn't always easy sharing a house at this stage in our lives! All she wants is her own home, and all I want is my own space/ life back !
But we rub along, and she had an early finish from her work and such a beautiful autumn afternoon was there to be enjoyed and shared together which we did !! 😊

Every day when I walk Red, I throw her ball for her for some of the way. She loves to run and catch it. Usually about half way, she will lie down with it and squeak it furiously. This makes me smile and laugh. It’s like she’s having a rest and a bit of fun with her favourite toy. If she sees me getting my mobile out to video her, she goes all coy and gets up. I managed to do a little video this morning before she spied what I was doing 🤣.
