So what does it do?I got a new lens for my camera and that's made me smile. I can't wait to get out and have a play with it. It's a second hand one so far cheaper than new, but in absolute mint condition; you can't tell it's even been used.
It's a total beast, mind. It weighs 2.3kg, not including the camera. That's not something that's going to be coming on a lot of long hikes with me
I'm hoping to start putting together a collection of images to sell over time, so hopefully one day I might make enough from it to cover its cost. I'm not holding my breath, though!
I'm sure it meant a lot to her. It's lovely! In the end, I think Nathan's card meant more to her than her present did to him!![]()
It's a lot longer, meaning it can photograph things farther away. Essentially, good for capturing high quality photos of birds and wildlife that make you feel you're right up close to themSo what does it do?
That's not a smart a*** comment by the way. I'm not camera savvy at all but I am interested in what the new lense can bring to your photography
Well, I think you are brave. F’s lenses and camera are so heavy. He asked me to take a photograph on the beach with the long lens on - I could barely hold the bloomin thingIt's a total beast, mind. It weighs 2.3kg, not including the camera
This makes me feel so much about the quality of my photos. I can tell myself, "The only reason Fiona's photos are SO much better than mine is because she carries around lenses that weigh more than a decent-sized chihuahua. Nothing to do with hard work and talent, no, no..."It's a total beast, mind. It weighs 2.3kg, not including the camera.
I saw a great quote the other day which made me smile: "Oh, what a lovely pen! I bet you can write wonderful stories with it!!"This makes me feel so much about the quality of my photos. Yeah, that lovely pen. Years ago a friend came to visit me when Brogan and I were living in Venice. He's a total travel cheapskate (didn't want to pay checked or carry on fees on Ryanair) and arrived with the clothes on his back, and a toothbrush and iPhone in his pocket. I was SCANDALIZED that he wouldn't at least bring a proper camera TO VENICE. He proceeded over the next three days to produce the most amazing photographs with just his mobile, even edited them in the darn thing. Shut me up but good!I saw a great quote the other day which made me smile: "Oh, what a lovely pen! I bet you can write wonderful stories with it!!"
That's a seriously cute kitty![]()
