he’s just been an absolute delight I adore him and our time together feels so much more special now I’m working again.

I found the same thing when getting back to work. My time with Nathan became so precious that I made the most of every moment.

Had a lovely afternoon tea yesterday at Malmaison in Dundee. Postponed from April and our planned celebrations for @Sophiedoodle 's 21st birthday.
Managed to get a booking in when they opened up again, disappointed not to get the prosecco/gin but had a nice mocktail with it instead (and plenty of tea). Just relieved to eventually have done this without further cancellations!

My Little Brother has just telephoned. I thought I wouldn't see them now until Christmas and was telling myself that this wasn't too bad, but he's asking if they can come and stay for either the weekend of Halloween or the one after! People to cook for again and two more evenings of company! Also hardly any time to wait until Christmas after that. Am I smiling? What do you think?!

Thanks everyone. Our work deadline is Monday - a rollout of a brand new product with a multi-national chain of banks and the deadline has been ridiculous. Hopefully it will all go smoothly on Monday!

I just watched a house hunting program in England. The couple wanted to buy a house in the New Forest in Hampshire. Saw the places back again where I went when I was 16 years of age, together with a friend of my. I saw Beauly, Lyndhurst, Lymington! So nice to see it back. Made me a bit melancholic of times that were. We stayed there in New Milton, also a little village nearby the sea and cliffs. From there you can see the Isle of Wight! Happy memories!

So I Darlington we’re in tier 2. Which means no halloweeining for the kids

So they’ve put on a thing where you go for a walk on Halloween night with your kid and spot the decorated houses. Then you give them a treat for everyone they spot.

It is peaceful. Quite often I have a little while when I don't want TV or music, just the sound of the fire, the wind and GGJ snoring!
