What made you smile today?

I must be a terrible dog Mummy , Reuben is still wearing the plain black collar he had at 6 months old , Nelly has just had a new black one , the first she`s had in three years , meanie Mum I must be :giggl:
Mine are deprived too. Wispa had a new (patterned) collar a while ago when her original one broke, but Tuppence is still wearing her original plain one (excluding tiny puppy collars, of course).

Sarah, don’t you need a third new one for that yellow lab...?!

Holly has three collars:
- An everyday walking collar for the flexi lead. Its padded and quite wide so its doesn't pull on her neck when the lead goes tight.
- A matching collar and lead for street walks, shopping and going to the vets.
- A posh collar and lead for parties. I found it on a work trip to California and brought it home as a present. Well why not!

One of my nieces sent me this little book in the post, it arrived this morning. She said she knew it would suit me down to the ground (she’s 11) and oh my goodness, it had me sobbing - in a good way. It’s very short but it’s beautifully illustrated and the message is profoundly lovely.
If you get a chance to buy it for yourselves or ask for a copy for Christmas, do - it’s super for any dog lover.

Oh! Whoops-a-daisy! I was just casually glancing at this on Amazon and my finger accidentally slipped and before I knew it I seemed to have clicked on 'buy now '!
It's for research purposes, you understand, I can think of at least three people who might like it for Christmas so I just thought I'd better check it out!:giggl::santa::xmastree:

Reuben does this thing , it always makes me smile . He is fed in the kitchen , where the floor has a vinyl covering . He is an enthusiastic eater , and likes to lick out his bowl thoroughly but as its a stainless steel bowl , it moves over the floor when empty so he sticks one of his front feet in it to hold it still and then licks round the foot
