Mine has arrived and I love it. In particular perhaps because the little black labrador on the front cover and at the end of the book looks very like Joy in size and posture. I'm going to have to order three more as Christmas presents! One of my nieces sent me this little book in the post, it arrived this morning. She said she knew it would suit me down to the ground (she’s 11) and oh my goodness, it had me sobbing - in a good way. It’s very short but it’s beautifully illustrated and the message is profoundly lovely.
If you get a chance to buy it for yourselves or ask for a copy for Christmas, do - it’s super for any dog lover.

It was quite a brief interlude which would be easy to miss if you were multi tasking. Wasn't he funny though? I sort of grew up with him around and probably took him for granted, although I did find him funny then. It's only now that I look back and think 'That was sheer genius!'@Candy, I thought I had watched all of the Kenneth William's programme tonight but was also multi-tasking, so missed the bit about 'Ma Crepe Suzette' and I don't remember it from way back either. However, he did make me laugh.
He'll be 4 months next week@Emily He‘s getting so big! How old is he now, I’ve lost track...
