I am off today so I’m unsure how they have done overnight. They were doing well through the day yesterday though

I met the little man this morning he is so teeny tiny and loves his Auntie Soph 
he is the same size as the rabbit mum made him 
it made me so happy all day!

My bestest girl, being beautiful as always and creating another dog lover in the house
I never ask her to put herself in the reach of the kids (Nathan is also here, just out of view) but she always wants to be a part of the action and seems to feel happy and safe

I went to the vet for a chat this morning and there was a gorgeous little bundle of fluff wandering around. A black shepherd (German? Belgian? Dutch?) cross. She was so confident and full of herself, strutting around the surgery. J looked at her, looked at me and said, "NO"
Mine will say no don’t get a black Labrador - they’re radged.Just think, in years to come when the kids are adults, they're going to say "I want a chocolate Labrador because we had the most amazing one growing up..."

Walking in the woods I spotted a silver star hung in a tree, next to a tree stump where I have often seen flowers left. Sometimes even a candle or other nik nak left .
There was a Holly wreath today placed behind the stump, just out of sight from the path.
There had been a dog collar left on it before too though don't know if this was related or random.
I have seen this going on for at least 2 or 3 years. It made me happy/sad to think of some person or dog being loved and celebrated in such a special place.
