I really do have some lovely, thoughtful, kind friends. Joy and I happened to see Jason when we were on our way up to Norland thismorning and she was absolutely beside herself with happiness. Thisevening he's just sent me a message saying that he and his wife, Sofija were talking about this and about how Joy is still a bit anxious when we walk in the area where she was attacked. This was outside a pub, where we have often sat on summer evenings and where Joy used to really like to go. They suggested that they could go and sit there at the time when we would be passing and make a fuss of Joy to try and help her have happy associations with the place again. We're starting tomorrow morning. They're not even dog owners themselves. Isn't it just lovely of them to think of that?
I just adore this

Drinking whisky and listening to The Cure
When we managed our holiday last year up in Helmsdale we visited Balblair distillery and I bought a couple of miniatures to share with the MIL who is a whisky drinker, normally the cheaper blended stuff rather than malt. Malts were more a treat for FIL.
Anyway we started with the 15yr old and it was very very nice. Was going to have the 25yr old the next night until OH wait 'thought that was for my collection".
Don't feel aggrieved, really .....(I lie).
It's a jolly good 15 year old and would love to get my hands on that wee bottle.
