What made you smile today?

Oh it did make me smile , I took the dogs to a walk by the river , I havent been in ages because Reubs was supposed to keep his bits dry but he now has the green light to get wet and oh boy did he get wet It was raining hard , horrible cold rain and my leg was agony today but it was worth it to see his joy . Nelly on the other hand was miserable , poor lamb now snuggled up and warm . Dont our dogs just lift the spirits when most needed xx

My daughter enrolled Reeva on a foundation agility course as she's now 12 months, and was so eagerly looking forward to it, counting down the days! And guess what 2 days beforehand Reeva comes in season

All is not lost however as the course provider gave various options and L chose to have video clips. So this morning I was helping her by holding Reeva so she could run to L and play with her toy. It was loads of fun, and she has to learn to run in a circle alongside my daughter. She goes round in circles most of the time!

She seemed to quickly grasp the concept of ""2 feet on a board" and going round an object. I can't wait to see how she progresses!

Oh, I know and miss that feeling! Being out in the high mountains with my dogs and not another person for miles around, except maybe a walking buddy or two sometimes. It's just heaven.

Oh, I wish we could go off lead in more places with our dogs, but leash laws and obviously wildlife protection here are totally different to the UK and Europe.

I love how small mountains make you feel. Makes your problems feel smaller too.

I do think Cassie would be like where do I look for the fezzies though!. Maybe ptarmigan would be the thing !

I don’t have that sort of wilderness but I do have acres of countryside untrammelled by people to walk in every day.
There's nothing better than just Cassie and myself being amongst it.
