.I would highly recommend it. I feel relaxed for the first time in daysActually @Candy they are much more sensible as they won’t show muddy paw prints.

This will be my 17th visit to Turkey, so as you can probably guess I would thoroughly recommend it, a beautiful country with a fascinating history, lovely welcoming people and gorgeous food. This particular trip will take me to all the places I have wanted to see, but not yet got around to, as well as a couple of re-visits that I'll be only too happy to make, including Istanbul, quite possibly the most beautiful city I've ever seen.I'm very much looking forward to it, but won't be taking the new trousers as they won't be cool enough.Yay Swampy so glad the new machine is helping
@Candy those pants (trousers sorry) are awesome. Please post plenty of pics of Turkey; it is high up on the travel bucket list
Oh! Which rivers are they cruising on? I don't know much about Turkish rivers, apart from one that Trevor and I did a very early morning boat trip on more than 20 years ago, which was stunningly beautiful. I hope they have a wonderful time, as we did.@Candy, my sister and husband are doing a river cruise in Turkey and I did wonder why! Now I can see why from your post, thank you.
I have made a big cake
So do mine!!chocolate cake that all the family have on their birthday.
Sorry @Candy, I have no idea! They just said it was a cruise in Turkey and as they have just done a river cruise to Bucharest and Budapest, I assumed it was another river cruise! Robert is a professor of the history of architecture so I imagine he will be looking at the buildings and being in land, not cruising the coast.Oh! Which rivers are they cruising on? )Same here! It felt such a different game from others football matches I’ve caught by mistake. I could really get into it xI have never had the slightest interest in football, have never watched a game in my life. I did however catch the last bit of the Lioness's game against Germany thisevening and found myself saying 'Go on, go on, go on!' (Causing Joy to put her paws on my lap, wondering what exactly I wanted!)
I found I was ecstatic when they won! Just really, really pleased! I think I could support women's football, rather than men's. The whole atmosphere behind the match felt completely different.
Yes! Sheila, my oldest friend ( I'm not allowed to call her this, she rightly insists that I have friends who are older than her, therefore she is 'The friend I have had for the longest time') have decided we're going to have to go to a match one day! It was interesting to hear one of the (male) commentators after the game. He was saying how different the whole crowd atmosphere had been from that of a male game, far more generally supportive. xxxSame here! Yep, same here. I was struck by their speed and agility, they made the game look graceful at times.I think I could support women's football, rather than men's. The whole atmosphere behind the match felt completely different.
