Rory and Iver both do cooperative care. Ivers just learning. He's getting it he doesn't like his ear drops but he sits and waits now. As soon as I get the ear drops out Rory goes and sits on the special treatment mat. He's just such a funny happy boy he always make me smile
Joy is similar! As soon as I get her ear drops out she lies down on her back at my feet. This is actually counterproductive as I want gravity to encourage the drops down her ear canal, but bless her, she means well and we manage. If I get her brush out she heads for the garden, which is where I always brush her. The giveaway during all this cooperation though is the anticipatory licking of lips throughout. She knows that treats are in store!
Still a Veryvery GoodGirl though!

Some lovely news made me smile . Last year ,our parish council purchased two very large fields on the edge of the village for the purpose of providing a place of enjoyment for everyone . Trees have been planted and picnic tables placed around . Now they have announced that dogs are welcome on and off lead, picking up required of course and bins have been provided . This is just great news , a safe environment away from roads , I`m looking forwarded to taking the dogs for a good run x

I had such a big smile on my face today while shopping in my small local market town, like many it has experienced a downturn in recent years and has not always been an uplifting place to be.

But things seem to be on the up lately. The Welsh Borders have long been a mecca for artists and the town now has it's own art festival as well as taking part in a county wide one annually, along with a pre Christmas Food Fair and I think a summer one. There is also a Walking Walk in September which has proved popular, and all of these have boosted the town I'm sure.

This year, the council gave grants to the high street businesses to paint their shop fronts and what a huge visual difference that has made. But best of all, they have resurfaced the pavements!! They were in a shocking state and dreadful to walk along, so uneven. The street is very narrow and quite often you had to step into the road, it must have deterred wheelchair users and been a nightmare for those with pushchairs. My feet didn't know where they were this morning, it was just wonderful to walk along the new pavements!
