Big smiles all round when they completed their Might Hike marathon for Macmillan Cancer support yesterday x Full marathon along the south west coast path, completed in 9 and a half hours, well done

I have to say that Debbie is a huge personal inspiration to me. When I first met her she was going through a particularly rough patch personally and healthwise. In the last few years she has, with a lot of hard work, turned herself into a fit sporty glamour maven whose energy and sparkly personal style never fail to make me smile. Plus she seems to be ageing backwards, and looks 10 years younger today than when I met her 6 years ago. I bow to the Cornish queen!

We are having plastering work done in our new home. Red has taken a shine to the plasterer (and I think he has to her). She has to say good morning to him. Today she was watching for the door to open so she could sneak in and admire his work
