What made you smile today?

You’re a cooler mam than me. I’ll be the one who holds the bags 🤷🏻‍♀️
@Emily The Tower of Terror, I did the same thing, took my children on it, Thomas was about 5, I literally had to hold him in is seat with as he was hovering over his seat. Terrifying. Never to be repeated :shake::shake: I did not feel cool I felt :puke:xx
I definitely didn't feel cool. Negligent for taking a three year old on the ride though 🤔😱

Joy had a very busy walk thismorning, lots of friends to play with, lots of swimming lots of racing and chasing. When we got home I emptied the dishwasher, putting some items back in the dining room, then went to do a food shop. Joy usually trots round after me everywhere but today she didn't follow me to the door when I went out as she usually would. I just assumed she was tired. However, on my arrival home about half an hour later there was no little black dog running to greet me by bringing me something and wagging her whole back end along with her tail. This is absolutely unheard of and I was worried something might be wrong with her. I called her......nothing. I went to look for her and couldn't find her! Just the beginning of panic, then I thought "Dining room!" Sure enough, there she was. She must have followed me in when I was putting things away, I had closed the door as I left the room and she was shut in! This also used to happen to Solstice on a fairly regular basis but she would always bark indignantly to be let out. Not this little sweetheart though. She's such a quiet and gentle little dog, she just came out VERY waggily and found a toy to bring me. If I had inadvertently locked a person in there and gone out shopping there might have been recriminations, but little Joy was just really pleased to see me. Impossible not to smile at such sweetness!:*

Silas is in his last few days at Primary school , and I am so proud of him . From being so withdrawn he has blossomed and matured so much . He is actually taking a solo part ( willingly and happily ) in his end of year six concert tomorrow . Crowning glory was seeing his SATS results , they can be brutal for youngsters and he was so worried about them , the boy done good x As if this wasnt enough to make me smile , he asked if we were going to have our usual garden barbie on Sunday for my BD , I said yes as long as it wasnt tipping it down with rain . He then asked if the dogs would be joining in , and I replied yes of course , Good said he , it wouldnt be fun without them xx
