We are just leaving my parents' place now. Had lunch with them and my grandmother, who is 92 and has early dementia. Her face lights up when she sees Rowan and she asks the same questions over and over again. "How much did he weigh?" and "don't you have a hat for him?"
All you can do is answer them as if it's the first time. Still, it's lovely to see how happy he makes her.
