Dad and his lad - how very good to see

What made me smile today? Flying my model aircraft in strong winds I managed to land it vertically. I pointed it into wind, throttled back, and it just lowered itself onto the runway. The club chairman and a bunch of other members were watching so I tried to look nonchalant (and failed).

We went to the pub with Kipper at the end of this afternoon’s walk. He was excellent! We’ve decided we need to practice far more

I’ve got a new job

A bit higher salary, A LOT more holidays and they were more than happy for me to let me finish my maternity and start in January.
