Monty stuck behind the mop - that made my smile. Nay, it made me chuckle.
The pups are getting weaned this weekend. Her last feed for them will be Sunday. She'll be out and about a bit more then. Their teeth are coming through tooMum is looking a little weary in that top photo

Don’t pick the one that shoves all the other puppies out of the way to get to you and is that wiggly you struggle to hold him. They turn out to be terrors.
Not speaking from experience or anything..
Also, I have mentioned that my mum is not a dog person. She is a little afraid of dogs, but Chewie is winning her over with his charming ways and love of older women... Today she came over and he ran in circles around her with his whole body wiggling and a treasure (Kong) in his mouth. She was pretty pleased with that greeting!

I have this little girl home for the weekend - she’s called Socks.
She was just mooching around the garden and then came in, went into her crate and had a nap! I was amazed how totally comfortable she was to go in there since she’s never really spent much time in a house yet!

What I'm amazed at, is that EVERY bloomin doodle seems to have the sofa on their radar from the set go.
OH and I were mucking around earlier thinking what we’d like to drink - G&T, wine, cocktails- and he suggested a tortopuss. Completely made up. So I said yes please, I’d like a tortopuss. He rustled one up and it was surprisingly nice! For future reference: genever Dutch gin, lime, ice and elderflower cordial. And maybe tonic?

Fingers crossed! One good thing about formula feeding is that the overnight wakeups can be shared. Except with my husband being deaf I still have to actually wake him...
