My lovely friend Nadine took me out for a belated birthday meal tonight. We went to Gimbals, in Sowerby Bridge, definitely somewhere you go for a special occasion and the food was gorgeous. The best bit was having Nadine all to myself for an evening for the first time in a few years. We had a wonderful evening and laughed and smiled a lot!

20kg Meg(an) Sparkle easily hauls 31kg Coco across the floor with a tuggy - no help required. She's one strong little girl.
With these guys it’s not about the weight or the strength really (they are both very strong) but more the way they are built (Squidge is a real 4WD! πŸ˜‚) and, in this case, the fact that Shadow doesn’t use his mouth properly to hold anything. He always holds tuggers etc with his front teeth rather than his whole mouth and jaws. He doesn’t have a chance against the hippo like that :D

Haven't gone to the pub tonight! Will be in bother, haven't sent a sick note! I've been busy though, tidying up the garden, making chutney, cooked a lovely mushroom risotto, which I have just eaten and now there's a bit of a Fleetwood Mac fest happening on BBC4 so I'm staying put tonight with my GGJ and a glass or so of wine. We're cosy and I'm smiling. So is Joy, I'm sure!

It's 'The Chain!' Turn the volume up!
Oh I love that song, I know it's known for F1, but I like the first half which never gets played, the slow build up to the finale.... In fact I love all of Fleetwood Mac. Looking out for love comes 2nd favourite to The chain.
Might take a look at that tomorrow on catch up.

I also really like the early, Peter Green bluesy stuff. All well worth a listen/look, I'd say.
