A couple of months ago I shared a photo of the cat in the living room - on the carpet, mind you, but in the living room nonetheless. Well, look what we've finally achieved.
It took her 3 years to make it into the living room, and she has only started jumping up onto the sofas in the past couple of weeks, and NEVER next to the dog. She can now walk into the living room without Xena acting the fool. I can't believe it. She has stage 2 kidney disease so I just hope that she gets to enjoy her newfound confidence for another year or two.

@Xena Dog Princess it is amazing how cats manage with such a small amount of kidney function available, my two siamese both ended up with renal failure, when at stage 2 they were at that level for ages.

@Naya has very kindly sent me a Comfy Collar for Joy. She looks more comfortable in it and isn't getting stuck in odd corners of the house in it. This is making me smile for three reasons:
GGJ is happier.
It's a really kind thing to do and yet another shining example of how many good people there are on this forum.

@Candy how is GGJ doing (except for obviously happier in her new cone)? I've sort of lost track of other threads and was wondering how she was doing.
Jet lag got me, so I was surfing the YouTubes this morning: the video below made me smile. I always think of Carbon speaking with a gentlemanly Antonio Banderas voice (vs Toby who had a sexy AB voice), so I found AB particularly "Carbonesque" here. Also I learned a couple new Spanish expressions!
