Bought the paint for my fireplace today. I've done the undercoat and will add the layers of colour over the next few days. The stove has now arrived at the shop and is ready for the fitter to collect. The new chimney liner is in place. All I'm waiting for now is the reclaimed slate that will be the new hearth to be cut to size. So excited! I do like a Project!

Now smiling because he is back home , shattered after much play and a long walk . He ( plus the others ) had to have a shower and a towel off due to the mud Anna said he had been brilliant , very sociable , now why doesnt that surprise me ? He came in , fussed us , checked the kitchen out for food and is now fast asleep x

Harley had her 2nd hydrotherapy session in the pool She’s was hesitant at first, but was quickly swimming on her own, racing Lauren for the ball

I had mail today. First, a new pair of dog walking boots; I retired my old Sorels last year, but kept them so I could have one pair here and another in Andorra, but they're so worn out I decided to treat myself! They're the worst colour (black - my first pair were brown and my other new pair is green) but they were the cheapest option.
And I also took deliver of the dogs' new Scruffts collars. I'm keeping these for Christmas for them, shhh, don't tell them!

Hunt the toilet roll has become a daily game for me. Meg(an) Sparkle keeps stealing it from the bathroom. I've found it in my bed, under the coffee table, by the front door, under the sofa, in the kitchen, and on her bed. It's such fun.
