Joy and I met a lovely couple on our morning walk. They had stopped to photograph a heron and Joy went straight over to them wagging, which is unusual for her. I was telling them about the nests further on and they were making a fuss of Joy. The man asked how old she was and when I said she was two and a half he replied ' She won't get any bigger then. That's good, she's just the right size for a proper Labrador!' I thanked him, and Joy thought he was a VERY nice man!:dug:

For a while now the Dog Shelves just inside the utility room have been a bit of a jumble and it hasn't always been easy to find things quickly. Popped into Lidl today for a few bits and pieces and there were these boxes with clip on lids, four for £3.99. They fit on the shelves perfectly and hold everything I need them to! I as now smiling the smug and self satisfied smile of the Organized Person.

@Candy something that only dog people can understand: of COURSE pub treats are different from training treats!
Yess! Pub is once a week and lasts for an hour or so, training is pretty much ongoing and is in short bursts only. Totally different level of treats required, carefully tailored to each situation. Or to put it more simply, if I only used training treats in the pub I would never complete a hooman to hooman conversation!
