Getting this video from my dog walker of Harley and friends today The dog with the blue harness is a rescue and new to the group, and Harley has 100% accepted her which a year or so ago, she wouldn’t of. The black dog she plays with most is my dog walkers boy.

We went for a little walk in the suburb where we want to buy a house and it was wonderful. We met some lovely dog walkers, from all sorts of backgrounds and with all sorts of dogs and they were all lovely. They were very keen to talk about how great the area is and wish us luck in our house hunt AND we met a beautiful 4 month old Labby girl who was a delight, and from a well known breeder, who actually taught the breeder we got Chewie from.

On my way to the shops today just for a few basics l had a message from Little Brother. His area is going into tier 3 on Friday which means they won't be able to come for the weekend as planned. To be honest I had been expecting this and had put a sort of a compensation plan in place, which basically involved buying loads of foody treats, ordering a takeaway curry on Saturday night and upgrading to Sky Cinema. So while shopping I began to put my plan into action. I bought some very nice packets of nuts, the kind I would normally only have at Christmas, some olives and two types of smelly cheese. Staggered home with bags far more laden than I had intended when I set out, my mobile made its beeping noise, another message from Little Brother, he'd checked on a Government website and they can visit after all as they're my support bubble! Now I have a cupboard and fridge full of treats and visitors for the weekend. Something to smile about indeed!
Pee Ess and I might still do the upgrade thing as well......long winter nights and all that!

I went in to Waterloo to have a very important work meeting to discuss Christmas play production. Five police dogs came right passed me with their handlers, three of the five were dark yellow/fox red just like Homer. They were so good they didn't even sniff me even though I wanted them to. I wanted to pet them and fuss them sooo much but I restrained myself as they were working.

This little Nelly of ours , so much wrong with her but also so much right She is such a character , absolutely hates getting wet and is quite definite in her refusal to walk in the rain . The situation , we pull up at one of the forest car parks , she turns to get out, nose first to test the weather .If its raining she will turn round and very deliberately climb up onto Pauls knee and turn her back on me , its like if she cant see me, I cant see her . She will snuggle up close to him and pretend to look out of his window and nothing , absolutely nothing will persuade her to join me and the big lad , little minx x
