What made you smile today?

Just think, in years to come when the kids are adults, they're going to say "I want a chocolate Labrador because we had the most amazing one growing up..." :inlove:
This is actually a really sensitive topic in our house. Nathan still seems to think that Ella will be here when he's a grown up. Last time we tried to delicately explain, he burst into tears. OH and I only just managed to hold ourselves together.

I know exactly how the little guy feels 🙁 it’s hard to think about without getting upset

My dog walking friend Fiona has a very elderly Fox Terrier, Jessie, and has been considering getting a puppy for some time so that when the inevitable happens she won't be without a dog. Last week she had a call from a Fox Terrier breeder who had a puppy that had been returned to her after just two weeks as unfortunately the new owner had suffered a serious heart attack and didn't feel able to care for a puppy properly. Fiona went to visit her yesterday on a farm in Wales and it was agreed that she would pick the pup up on the 27th. By the time she had got home the rules had changed and so rather than wait until who knows when she has gone back today to meet the breeder on the Welsh border and bring the little girl back today. She's been up since 3am puppy proofing her house and here is Maud on her way to her forever home. That's going to be a very loved and well cared for little dog!IMG-20201220-WA0001.jpg
