I had a bulk delivery of kindling for the stove today. It came in a big cardboard box, delivered by a very nice man who gave Joy a small gravy bone treat, which she was most pleased about. I left opening the box for a while, then went back to it and found this20210204_152306.jpgI think she thought she'd had a massive delivery of gravy bones!😀

Reuben just back from Playgroup , shattered and happy . Over the road from us lives Mia , a young Rhodesian Ridgeback , they adore one another so much , Anna told me that today they have never left one anothers sides , so sweet . Mia is gorgeous, a lovely natured girl , her owners have recently separated and as a Theatre Sister at Plymouth Hospital , her Mum has to work every shift she can to pay the mortgage so poor Mia is now left for long periods of time . When I see her owner , I`m going to ask if she would like us to have Mia sometimes , instead of her coming home to an empty house for hours on end , I think Reubs would be delighted

Had a long Zoom call this evening with Bear's breeder and all the families who had one of Bear's brothers and sisters. Turns out they are all a bit bonkers ☺. Even Sula, the breeder's pup stole a toilet roll twice on the call and was called challenging 😂. And she's a dog trainer. Turns out recall around other dogs is a huge problem ( actually Bear is not that bad with this) and the painful mouthing of my arms I am really , really struggling with is happening with two of the others, too. And we are all struggling with general excitability which we think has a definite lockdown link.

And discovered today that Bear's grandad is Forest ( I was in a puppy haze last year and tbh don't pay a lot of attention to this stuff) so he is second cousin (?) to Toffee @SteffiS ? I love that I can see photos and videos of his mum and nan through the breeder but now I have another close family member to track drown and drool over!
