I have a day off work today. OH is at work, Nathan's at school and I've just dropped Jackson at childcare for a couple of hours so that I can get my hair and nails done.

Our afternoon walk along the cliffs was glorious - it felt more like May than the end of February.

We were a *teeny tiny* bit naughty today and went to a local national park with a gruffalo that was a short drive away. I know you’re supposed to “stay local” but it’s done us all the world of good. We saw the gruffalo, ran around and had ice creams in the sunshine. And this little face seeing the gruffalo has brightened up my life

Big smile - Shooting clays TWICE today. This morning we showed our faces at one of the competition ranges - quite near to home - I was total sh1te but enjoyed it anyway. OH shot quite well. Seems and OK but rather regimented. I think we will become members. Then we drove down North to grab a sandwich then shoot again at Sky Hill where we went on Thursday. This time just the 2 of us with the chap that owns it and coaches. It was fantastic. I shot much better. He is planning to open a bit more come April. His vision for the site is exactly what we are looking for.

Yes! Mark has said to think about what I want in the way of shelving. It's going to be so useful. Actually I think I'd quite like to just sit in it sometimes as well!

The fact that my son thinks any piece of fluff he finds anywhere is "dog hair" because he lives in a Labrador house. Even in my parents extremely, weirdly, clean house.

Reuben , trotting happily into the Vets just now after the nurse fetched him from the car . He`s had his Lepto shot only , but it did make me smile that he is so happy to go and see them all x

Cass is so busy sniffing round the door on the way in that I don't think she knows who is on the other end of the lead! When she comes back out she's like " Oh there you are! What happened to you? I thought you were right behind me!"
