I feel like it's only english that has so many variations on grandparent names. Most languages seem to have one name for paternal grands and one name for maternal ones. Although my French mother became Mimi because Dawn couldn't say "Mamie"

I’m Omi, Anuka’s other grandma is Babaya,, Mr Boogs is Opa, Andy is Onkle Andy, her Mum is Dayda, Mike is Papa.

So she doesn’t have a Mama!

Her first words are ‘I love you’ which she keeps saying when she cuddles people or teddies - but they are in Georgian and unpronounceable by us English folk

Her first English word is ‘car’ just like her Papa’s was.

My OH has an Oma and Opa (Dutch grandparents), Nonna and Nonno (Italian grandparents), Aunty and Uncle and Teta and Stric (pronounced Stritze - Slovenian aunty and uncle).

I would definitely recommend!
Its a very spacious hatchback with a decent boot size. Feels very safe and sturdy to drive. Very cheap for the quality and standard you get!

Spanish has quite a lot, too. Abuela/o is grandmother/father and abuelita/o is like grandma/pa. And they do shorten that, too. Thinks like abbi, abue, tita, lita, tata....
So not too dissimilar to the multiple versions in English.

We went to a museum today, since it was pouring rain. We thought we had cleverly planned our exit to coincide with nap time, but Mr Busy was having none of it. He spent the whole 40 minute car trip home yelling "cassoWARY" after seeing a cassowary statue at the museum...
