Today I popped into one of my free holiday Playschemes to meet a funder. Whilst waiting a little girl came up to me and ‘your the boss of this aren’t you?’ I said yes and asked if she was enjoying it, in reply she started singing and dancing to me about how happy she is to see her friends, meet new friends, play games, do arts & crafts and how much she loves coming every day and how she would love too hug me if she could. She brought a tear to my eye and a huge smile on my face. It was so lovely to see the difference our work gives children, especially after the past year

I have just spent 4 hours sitting in my friends garden chatting, laughing and drinking tea whilst the sun shone and it was so warm. She lives just down the Glen from me but we haven't seen each other since before Christmas when I fell. She has been shielding since last March. It was brilliant to see her, it really lifted our spirits, we are both so grateful xx
