My vets ran a first aid for pets workshop this morning. It was very informative and amongst other useful things we learned how to correctly bandage an ear or paw. This is the staff dog volunteer, she was gorgeous!

Not that I'm saying my dog has an expressionless face or anything - God forbid! - but let's all admit that 99.9% of Carbon's personality resides in his tail and those ears. And the ears only during certain specific meteorological conditions.

This little girl sitting in her favourite place for this time of year( in the sun, but out of the wind) made me smile today Then she did this and licked my face which made me smile even more!

My parents now live in Port Douglas. We've just booked flights to stay there over Easter. As have my brother wife and kids. They live in Perth and we haven't seen them in over two years. Can't wait to see them and unveil the Jackmeister

My friends are checking up on me. I was ordered to meet S on the park today at 9 with a dog or 2 for a walk. S always makes me laugh she told me I smelled lovely today
