I went to have my wounds looked at and redressed today. I had a fab time and they gave my own dressing kit. It's marvelous and even has a special pair of scissors. It's made me very happy.

My next door neighbour but one, has similar face ops, he is covered in large dressings!
My face is naked no dressings on because its better open. its my hand thats complicated and covered due to the cuts and closure. My stitches are starting to deteriorate as they are supposed to, everything is good.

I have one a bit like that too @Sophiedoodle - it blew away in the storms earlier in the year, but I have most of it stashed in the shed - I will put it back together soon. It's for tomatoes. I got a few last year, but then was hit with blight.

There have been several missing dogs around here lately, Charlie Beagle, who's body was sadly found a few weeks ago, also Gwen, a young Collie missing since 27th of December. Gwen and her person are from Newcastle and were just staying here for Christmas, so she wasn't even familiar with the area. More recently another Collie, Bruce has gone missing. I was talking to a friend last night who has also been following the missing dog stories and we were wondering whether the Collies had been snatched..I've just checked the fb page and Gwen was found today safe and well! Don't know the full story yet but it seems an older couple found her, took her in and contacted the appropriate people! There's a beautiful video of her being reunited with her owner! So lovely to have such good news! Can't stop smiling!

Canada’s national Men’s Soccer Team has won 4-0 against Jamaica today and clinched a berth at the World’s Cup! First time in 36 years!! 
Today Rory ran away. He went to the deli and tried to help unload a food delivery. He was very keen the delivery man was a bit err what are you doing. I caught up and Rory decided to come for a walk after all. Really the delivery man shut the van door.

Joy flushed a pheasant on the moor thismorning. I don't know who was more surprised, her or the pheasant! Once she'd got over the shock though she was funny, all waggy and nudging me with her nose and Everso pleased with herself. She does make me chuckle!
